Training on supporting gender equality was held at Sarajevo International Airport

    arajevo Airport and the Gender Center of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are educating employees about the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination Based on Gender in the Workplace

    Sarajevo International Airport, in cooperation with the Gender Center of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized a workshop for employees on the topic of gender equality in the workplace, with a special focus on the application of the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination on the Basis of Gender.

    The training brought together participants from different sectors of the Airport, and was held with the aim of empowering employees to recognize and act against any form of discrimination based on gender. The Gender Center of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina provided professional support in the implementation of the education led by Prof. Dr. Midhat Izmirlija from the UNSA Faculty of Law and Adnan Kadribašić, an eminent expert on gender equality.

    During the workshop, participants were introduced to relevant regulations and practices related to gender equality in the workplace. Special attention is paid to the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination on the Basis of Gender, which is a key instrument for protecting the rights of employees and promoting equality.

    Representatives of Sarajevo International Airport expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation with the Gender Center of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the importance of continuous education on gender equality.

    The training achieved an extremely positive response from the employees, and the participants expressed their gratitude for the provided education and support in creating the most positive working environment possible.
