Sarajevo International Airport successfully completed the recertification audit of the airport operator, PC International Airport Sarajevo d.o.o. Sarajevo, implemented by the Directorate for Civil Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHDCA).
During the procedure, which lasted from May 24 to 25 of the current year, a detailed review of all documents related to the procedures for performing air operations at the airport, maintenance of the airport and the security management system was carried out. BHDCA inspectors conducted an analysis of the application of documents in practice as well as an operational review of the airport.
At the final meeting attended by representatives of BHDCA and Sarajevo Airport, it was concluded that PC Sarajevo International Airport d.o.o. Sarajevo fulfills the requirements to manage the Sarajevo International Airport - LQSA, in accordance with the Law on Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the applicable regulations adopted on the basis of it, the basic conditions for certification (CB - Certification Basis), the conditions of the Certificate and the airport manual.
PC Sarajevo International Airport d.o.o. Sarajevo will continue to carry out activities regarding the fulfillment of requirements related to the airport operator, which, among other things, is confirmed by successfully conducted regular inspection controls in various areas.
