Minister of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism Nasiha Pozder visited Sarajevo International Airport today, where she met with Director Alan Bajić, Executive Director for Traffic and Air Traffic Services Elvedin Begić and Vedrana Vikić Musić, Director of the Airport Services Sector.
As part of the visit, the representatives of Sarajevo Airport, together with the minister, toured the works that are currently being carried out at the Sarajevo airport, which are related to the extension and modernization project of Terminal B.
Completed works within the first phase of the project were presented, as well as works that are currently in progress and refer to the second phase (construction of footbridges to air bridges and staircases that will increase capacity for processing passengers, modernization of the old part of the Terminal, interior works, expansion Duty Free Shop, etc.)
During the visit, other current topics and activities were discussed, which Sarajevo International Airport plans to implement in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, as well as with other relevant institutions, with the aim of improving tourism and positioning Sarajevo as a preferred tourist destination.
During this visit, representatives of Sarajevo International Airport used the opportunity to express their commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection, through responsible action in all their business processes and activities.
