As of 14 June, Wizz Air starts direct flights from Sarajevo to Saarbrücken, Germany two times a week, i.e. on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The city of Saarbrücken is located near the border with France and that creates new opportunities for travelling into this country as well.

It is worth noting, that restrictions for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the entry into Germany were lifted as of 11 June 2022.
