Wizz Air announces a new route from Sarajevo

Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest growing airline, announces today the addition of a new route from Sarajevo to London. The flights will be operated twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday. The first flight from Sarajevo International Airport to London Luton Airport will depart 29 March 2022. Seats for the route are already available online on wizzair.com and via WIZZ mobile app from as low as 38.99 BAM / 17.99 GBP*.

As travel restrictions can change, Wizz Air advises passengers to check travel regulations prior to the start of their trip. WIZZ Travel Planning Map, help passengers to check current travel restrictions within the Wizz Air’s network. The color-coded site is now optimized for mobile use and lays out a comprehensive map of possible destinations travellers can embark on, with relevant links to government websites, travel pages, and any forms that must be filled out prior to departure.

Additionally, to ensure a comfortable travel experience, Wizz Air offers its passengers a variety of services. Thus, by adding WIZZ Flex to a booking, passengers can rest assured that if circumstances change, or they simply wish to travel on a different date or to a new destination, they can rebook on any WIZZ flight of their choice.

To help passengers and crew travel safely and worry-free, Wizz Air has implemented additional hygiene measures to support social distancing throughout boarding and embarkment. In order to reduce non-essential interaction at the airport, customers are advised to check in and make any purchases online, such as paying for additional bags. As countries begin to relax restrictions, it is vital to note that passengers must adhere to the mask-wearing regulations on all Wizz Air aircraft as part of WIZZ safety measures.

Paulina Gosk, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: “We are happy to announce the expansion of our route network from Sarajevo by adding London as an attractive destination for tourist and business travels. Our crew is looking forward to welcoming passengers on board of our modern aircraft.”
