As it has been already announced, an airline company Wizz Air positioned its second aircraft to its base at Sarajevo International Airport. Flight routes towards Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg and Malmo have been introduced as of today. A route to Gothenburg starts operating from 17 December and to Oslo as of 19 December.
In line with the winter flight schedule, Wizz Air plans to operate 6 daily turnarounds with both aircraft towards 6 new destinations in Europe.
Despite the consequence the coronavirus pandemic has had on our business, a decision in relation to Wizz Air base opening has proved to be exceptionally successful and the airline company has reached a decision to position the second aircraft and to launch 6 new destinations only 6 months after the base was established.
