Mr. József Váradi visited Sarajevo International Airport yesterday and along with his associates attended a meeting with Mr. Alan Bajić, Director of Sarajevo International Airport.
Possible improvements of ground handling services by implementation of all new safety measures were discussed at the meeting as well as current aviation related issues, with a particular emphasis on negative impacts caused by corona virus pandemic.
Moreover, it was also discussed about implementation of infrastructural projects in progress and other developmental projects which are covered by Master Plan of PC Sarajevo International Airport.
A particular interest was directed towards the status of permanent abolishment of the Federal tax for development of civil aviation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Furthermore, it was discussed about launching of new destinations which were subject of the analysis by airline and airport personnel.
Mr. Váradi expressed his satisfaction with Wizz Air base operations at the airport Sarajevo and his gratitude for hospitality.
