Today, Lufthansa had its first flight on a route Frankfurt – Sarajevo – Frankfurt, connecting the capital of B&H with the main hub of Lufthansa in Germany. As a continuation of ongoing efforts to satisfy the needs and requests for air travel, despite various travelling restrictions which are in force at this moment, today, Lufthansa introduced a scheduled flight route Sarajevo – Frankfurt.
This renowned company will, on this flight route, operate 4 times a week from/to Sarajevo in May, by aircraft Airbus A319 and 7 flights a week are scheduled as of June this year.
Lufthansa Group will, by launching these flights for Sarajevo, offer a better connectivity with Bosnia and Herzegovina to its passengers all around the globe. It is important to emphasize that LH Group in this way complements to already existing connections of Austrian Airlines for Sarajevo from Vienna and at the same time it gives the opportunity to passengers from Bosnia and Herzegovina to take all advantages of worldwide network of Lufthansa Group.
