Inaugural Flight of AnadoluJet Airline Company

    A first aircraft of AnadoluJet airline company, on a route Istanbul-Sarajevo-Istanbul, landed today at the airport Sarajevo, and a traditional water greeting was organized on that occasion.
    The airline company operates under Turkish Airlines, and, as of today, it has commenced the flights to Istanbul, but to the airport Sabiha Gokcen which is on the Asian side of Istanbul. AnadoluJet connects Sarajevo and Istanbul three times a week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with an aircraft Boeing 737-800 which has 189 seats.
    A departure time is 14:50 local time. Also, as of today March 28, 2021, AndoluJet has a special offer for a round-trip ticket from 59.00 EUR for a route Sarajevo-Istanbul-Sarajevo. This special offer is available until March 31, 2021.

    The tickets may be purchased at the Ticketing Office of Sarajevo International Airport, as well as via official web site of Sarajevo International Airport www.sia.ba. Besides Istanbul, the airline company plans to introduce routes towards summer resorts on the Turkish coast, to Antalya and Bodrum.
    The flights to Antalya start as of mid-May, and, at the beginning, the same are planned to operate three times a week, whereas as of end of July, the flights should operate on a daily basis towards this destination. The flights from Bodrum to Sarajevo are scheduled to operate two times a week as of mid-June.
    AnadoluJet operates as a regional air carrier, and for its parent company, it operates domestic flights as well as flights to Northern Cyprus, the Western Europe and the Middle East. AnadoluJet operates at 136 destinations, and, unlike Turkish Airlines, it operates flights from Sabiha Gokcen airport which is on the Asian side of Istanbul.
