B&H opened borders for all foreign nationals with negative PCR test

All foreign nationals who have a negative PCR test on coronavirus not older than 48 hours may enter Bosnia and Herzegovina as of 10th September 2020. A decision was made after consultations between entity authorities, i.e. after the Emergency Situation Committee of the RS made a conclusion on approving the entry to foreign nationals, whilst the Federation of B&H has not had anything against that for a certain period. Previously, the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism stated that border opening for the entry of citizens from Turkey, USA and Eastern countries would boost a tourist season. Thus, Bosnia and Herzegovina has become an entirely open country again, at least for persons who have a proof not to be infected by a contagious COVID-19 disease. Up to this time, only citizens from the European Union member states and Schengen Area states could have entered B&H and only with the negative PCR test.

Entry into BiH without presenting a negative test for the SARS-COV-2 virus is allowed to:

-        Citizens of Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Croatia when they enter Bosnia and Herzegovina directly from the state of which they are citizens, as well as their minor children and spouses, who are citizens of other countries;

-        Aircraft and cabin crew, whose final destination is Bosnia and Herzegovina.
