As in the previous years, Sarajevo International Airport is going to mark a sad anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica. SIA employees will be wearing on their lapels the „Srebrenica flower“, a symbol of hardships of over 8.000 civilians 25 years ago, including a large number of children.
Like many other institutions in the country and abroad, Sarajevo International Airport is determined to not allow the worst crime committed in Europe since the Second World War to be forgotten.
