Sarajevo International Airport got a disinfection tunnel

    During a handover ceremony held today at Sarajevo International Airport, representatives of the United States military and NATO delivered another valuable donation of critical supplies and equipment to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina for fighting COVID-19 pandemic.  Sarajevo International Airport received protective equipment and a disinfection tunnel for the purpose of ensuring safety of passengers at the entry. 

    Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General William Edwards with his advisors,  Brigadier Corey Shea, a chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation and representatives of Sarajevo Airport attended today’s ceremony.

    Since the beginning of the crisis, NATO Allies have donated tons of supplies in numerous shipments to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in response to its request for assistance to NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC).
