Another flight for returning BH citizens to their families

     

    Sarajevo International Airport has shown one more time its importance in emergency situations and it has justified once again why it is called the lifeblood of entire BH society. In addition to the delivery of goods and medicines which takes place regularly even after the suspension of commercial flights, Sarajevo airport continues to play a crucial role in returning BH citizens to their families as well.
    After the evacuation of our citizens from Italy, another special flight has been organized. FlyBosnia air carrier has took off from Sarajevo airport at 13:00 for Stockholm with 138 passengers, six babies being among them. According to information from Swedish Embassy in Sarajevo, passengers are mostly Swedish nationals and nationals from other Nordic countries, namely persons with the right of residence in the above-mentioned countries.
    The air carrier from Stockholm with 82 passengers has landed at Sarajevo International Airport at 19:40.
    SIA employees have undertaken all precautionary hygiene measures, including baggage disinfection and extra measures for the protection of employees have been undertaken during the ground handling procedure.
    SIA employees have shown their courage and commitment in executing extremely important tasks which are necessary for maintaining trade and humanitarian connections with the rest of the world during the coronavirus pandemic.
