Sarajevo International Airport will be temporarily closed for commercial flights from Monday 30th March 2020. Entry ban to Bosnia and Herzegovina for foreign nationals

The Council of Ministers of B&H reached a Decision on a temporary closure of Sarajevo International Airport for commercial flights from Monday 30th March 2020. Along with the closure of Sarajevo airport, the Decision shall apply to the closure of the airports in Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla.
Sarajevo International Airport remains open for humanitarian and cargo flights. The Decision will enter into force on 30th March 2020 at 6 AM and will remain in place until further notice.
A recommendation for passengers is to address airline companies for additional information regarding their rights.
Besides this Decision, the Council of Ministers of B&H at extraordinary session held on 24th March 2020 banned the entry to B&H for all foreign nationals, in the aim of combating a coronavirus outbreak.
Members of EUFOR and NATO, medical staff or persons connected with the humanitarian aid, i.e. foreign nationals who have a special permission for entering B&H, residence or transit through the territory of B&H issued by the Council of Ministers of B&H, are exempted.
