Sarajevo International Airport had 180.929 passengers in July, what is the 14% increase in comparison with the same month last year.
The number of realized air traffic operation in July was 1.752, what also is an increase of 11% compared to July last year. In respect of cargo, there were 218.561 kg in July, what is the 6% increase in comparison with the same month in the previous year.
In first 7 months of the current year Sarajevo International Airport has had 638.663 passengers, what makes the growth of 9 % in comparison with the same period last year.
The number of flights increased for 3% in comparison with the same period in the previous year, i.e. 7.959.
In this season seven new destinations have been introduced: Riyadh, Gassim, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Athens, Berlin and Gothenburg.
A trend of good business results is expected to continue in the forthcoming period, too.
