On July 11, 2019 the director of BiH Border Police, Zoran Galić, met the director of Sarajevo International Airport, Armin Kajmaković.
Two directors talked about successful cooperation so far, as well as about future activities. Given the increased number of air traffic operations and passengers during the summer season, the director discussed a possibility of engaging more police officers in the Border Police Unit at Sarajevo Airport.
They agreed that security and passport control has been smooth and efficacious so far due to an exceptional efforts of BiHBP and SIA employees who will continue to consistently implement all the rules and regulations related to civil aviation security.
Director Kajmaković briefed director Galić on the current infrastructural projects, i.e. ongoing works on extension of Sarajevo Airport what will create better work environment for the employees of the Border Police Unit at SIA.
