Eurowings' new air service connecting Sarajevo and Berlin from today

    Today the German low-cost airline Eurowings introduces a new air service connecting the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the capital of Germany.

    Aircraft from Sarajevo International Airport will operate twice a week, on Monday and Friday.

    This new air service is a continuation of a successful cooperation between Sarajevo International Airport and the low-cost German carrier.It should be pointed out that Eurowings has already been operating from Sarajevo airport to Cologne and Stuttgart.

    The new service is another proof that the biggest airport in the country continues its impressive growth in all segments of its business and thus directly contributes to development of economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its tourist potentials especially, and at the same time keeps offering our citizens a wider range of both European and the international destinations.

    This service is especially important for our fellow citizens who live in Germany, but also for tourists from this part of Europe whose number has increased. Ticket price depends on available seats and the date of booking and flying, with initial price of a one way ticket in the amount of 49,99 EUR.

    With more than 3.5 million citizens Berlin is the capital and biggest city in Germany and the second biggest city in European Community. It is well known for its history, vegetation and different cultures, but also for being divided for decades into the East and West part.

    This impressive city is worth visiting at any time of the year and it will meet everybody's expectations, including history lovers to those who come for shopping. It is also known as a major hub in this part of Europe, a significant business, cultural and educational centre with numerous universities, scientific institutes, theatres, museums and historical monuments.
