This year, too, Sarajevo International Airport continues to present its services, business achievements and development plans at the International Trade Fair in Mostar. The fair to be attended by more than 800 exhibitors from thirty-odd countries, with China as the partner country, will be closed on April 13.
Given the fact that the fair is attended by numerous companies in the business of communication and transport of goods, special attention is paid to presentation of air traffic services and air transport of cargo. Further, in 2018, Sarajevo International Airport had more than one million passengers, with considerably bigger number of visitors on annual level, and for that reason it has been emphasized how attractive the Airport is for lease of advertising space.
Since Sarajevo, as well as the whole country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are recently getting more and more interesting as a tourist destination, many airlines have shown interest for starting new air services, building up the existing services, as well as setting up the scheduled instead of charter operations. Consequently, Sarajevo International Airport uses the occasions like the Mostar Trade Fair to present its offer, facilities and business opportunities in order to keep attracting new airlines and thus connecting Sarajevo to numerous world capitals.
This year, i.e. on June 2, 201, SIA marks the 50th anniversary. We will celebrate this jubilee with the most extensive works in history of Sarajevo International Airport, when we actually realize extension and rehabilitation of all airport facilities, both in terms of their size and technological innovations.
The Mostar fair also includes "Fair of tourism" and "Fair of books and publishing trade", as well as many conferences, round tables and workshops.
