Signed Agreement for execution of works on extension and modernization of Terminal B and construction of Administration building for OPC and staff

Today at Sarajevo International Airport were signed Agreements between Sarajevo International Airport, as an investor, and the reputable company ANS DRIVE, as Contractor, on execution of works on modernization and extension of Terminal B, as well as on execution of building works and specialists' trades on construction of the administrative building for Operations Centre and staff. Total value of the mentioned buildings equals 36 million KM, excluding VAT. It should be stressed that the Airport finances both projects exclusively from its own resources, and that the project of modernization and extension of Terminal B, worth 30million KM, is the biggest investment project in history of Sarajevo International Airport.
After signing the contracts, director of Sarajevo International Airport, Armin Kajmaković, emphasized the following:
“Extension of the passenger terminal and construction of the business-administrative building for Operations Centre and other staff, represent important strategic projects of Sarajevo International Airport that will, together with realization of other projects, provide additional capacity for further growth, as well as for constant improvement of the quality of our services aimed at promotion of tourist, business and other potentials of the wider Sarajevo region and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.“
The director of ANS Drive, Asmir Dževlan, said the following:
“I would like to thank you for your confidence and to announce, with great pleasure, a forthcoming start of works on extension of Sarajevo International Airport. This is another major projects for our company and we would like to emphasize our pleasure over that fact that we met very complex and high requirements being defined in Tender Documentation.”
