EUROCONTROl’s workshops on Aeronautical Data Quality – ADQ and Terrain and Obstacle Data – TOD

On June 26-29, 2018 in the BHANSA Main office were held EUROCONTROl's workshops on Aeronautical Data Quality – ADQ and Terrain and Obstacle Data – TOD.
These workshops were attended by representatives of BHANSA, Directorate for civil aviation BiH – BHDCA, all international airports in BiH (Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla), and the Federal administration for geodetic and property-rights affairs.
Attendees on behalf of Sarajevo International Airport were the manager of Sector for air traffic and aviation services, Mr Nermin Zijadić, and the senior staff member for safety, Mr Vahidin Zukanović. The workshop on Aeronautical Data Quality was conducted by Mr Manferd Unterreiner and Mr Miguel Paulo Rodriges, while the workshop on Terrain and Obstacle Data was conducted by Mr Alexandre Petrovsky.
Holding these workshops was made possible due to the Agreement on cooperation concluded between BHANSA and EUROCONTROL, with purpose to reconsider implementation of regulatory requirements and to agree on further cooperation between competent authorities of BiH and EUROCONTROL regarding Aeronautical Data Quality and Terrain and Obstacle Data which are of utmost importance for safe and efficacious air traffic operations.
