Res2/Iport DCS Implemented with Success

The Sarajevo International Airport has been successful in implementation of the new Res2/Iport DCS system for controls of departures of airplanes, passengers and items. The migration from the previous HP DCS onto the new system was an exceptionally complex task involving training for the Airport employees as well as the training and preparedness for the staff of numerous airline companies that operate from the Sarajevo Airport to also implement the new system.
This system uses computers to complete passenger data necessary for flight check-ins and to process the actions related to printing of boarding tickets, reception and sorting of luggage, boarding of passengers and the accompanying tasks. These activities completed by the Sarajevo Airport ensure improved quality and more security in processing of passenger and luggage data.
The transfer onto the new system will significantly increase the Airport’s efficiency in performing of basic processes and will additionally enhance the level and quality of services offered by the Sarajevo International Airport to its business partners and clients.
