Students from Faculty for Traffic and Communications visit Sarajevo International Airport

Students and professors for the Faculty for Traffic and Communications have today visited Sarajevo International Airport. It has been an educative visit during which the guests had a chance to learn more about Security Management at Sarajevo Airport. They were presented work processes in the Sector for Security and Protection, including procedures which are necessary for safe air traffic operations. They also visited Terminal building to directly see a working process of Technical service within this Sector, the equipment used for screening of passengers and their personal items, as well as other activities that prevent illegal interference with civil aviation.
Students were presented the conditions that have to be fulfilled to assure safe air traffic. They were also explained how important is the aspect of safety at air side of the airport, as well as adherence to all established procedures being necessary for safe air traffic operations.
